Tutorfic is an educational tool meant to be set up and supervised by a parent, teacher or guardian. You're responsible for the account and for the children who use it under your care.
You keep ownership of the chapter files you upload. You confirm you have the right to use them for your child's learning, and you grant us permission to process them to generate lessons, quizzes and exams.
Lessons, answers and quizzes are produced by an AI model and may occasionally contain mistakes. Always treat them as a helpful aid, not a flawless authority, and review important content with a teacher or textbook.
Tutorfic runs on prepaid credits. New accounts get a free credit grant; after that you top up by buying credits, which are then spent as you use AI lessons, quizzes and read-aloud. Pricing is shown before you pay.
Because credits unlock AI usage that costs us money as soon as it's used, credits already spent are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error or a payment failed to credit your account, contact us within 7 days at hello@tutorfic.com and we'll investigate and, where appropriate, refund unused credits to the original payment method. Refunds, when granted, are processed via our payment partner (Razorpay) and may take a few business days.
You can delete your account at any time from the app (👤 menu → Delete account), which erases your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or to protect the service and other users — we'll give notice where we reasonably can. On closure, unused credits are forfeited except where a refund is due under section 6 or required by law.
We work to keep Tutorfic running smoothly but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as we improve the product.
Tutorfic is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from its use, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 3 months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We'll always try to resolve any concern informally first — please write to hello@tutorfic.com. Any dispute not resolved that way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our registered place of business in India.
